Gewachste Fahrradkette in Profiqualität für erhebliche Watt-Ersparnis, immer saubere Antriebe und enorme Antriebshaltbarkeit. Ideal für High-End Räder, Renneinsätze und Zwift-Rennen.

 

Diese Shimano CN-HG901 11-fach Kette mit 116 Gliedern wurde zuerst mit Waschbenzin behandelt und anschließend in einem Ultraschallbad komplett vom Werksfett entfettet.  Im Anschluss wurde sie in Silca Secret Chain Blend heiß gewachst. Selbstverständlich wurde auch das Kettenschloss behandelt und wird mitgeliefert.

 
Das von uns verwendete Silca Secret Chain Blend  nutzt das schnellste und schmierfähigste Additiv der Welt, Wolfram Di-Sulfid im Nanobereich. Nano Platelet WS2 hat weniger als 1/3 des dynamischen Reibungskoeffizienten von PTFE und 1/4 des Reibungskoeffizienten von Molybdändisulfid (MoS2). Dabei verzichtet Silca Secret Chain Blend auf umweltschädliche PFAS-Chemikalien. 
 
Die Vorteile gewachster Ketten sind absolut überzeugend. Die Kette läuft viel effizienter und man spart einige Watt ein. Obendrein schonen die gewachsten Ketten Kassette, Kettenblätter und Schaltröllchen, was sich gerade an hochpreisigen Antrieben finanziell enorm auszahlt. Der Antrieb bleibt außerdem immer sauber und Ketten-Tattoos und schmutzige Hände und Schuhe gehören endlich der Vergangenheit an. Der Antrieb funktioniert mit gewachsten Ketten im Nassen wie im Trockenen perfekt.         
 
 

Hinweis: Nach etwa 800 km lässt die Beschichtung nach und es kann mit flüssigem Kettenwachs nachgearbeitet werden. Hierzu empfehlen wir unser Flüssigwachs, welches wir in Zusammenarbeit mit Morgan Blue entwickelt haben. Du findest es hier. Nach Fahrten unter nassen Bedingungen sollte die Kette im Anschluss an die Fahrt mit einem trockenen Tuch abgetrocknet werden. Besonders einfach klappt dies mit dem Dynamic AirForce Max.
